Random Sunday Shot: Old School Goodness

A few Old School wargaming books that I have acquired over the years. They are probably obsolete in this day and age, but they did provide me with new ideas and inspiration when I read them for the first time.

  1. Still nice to have. I have several of the old "classics". They bring back memories of the old days of wargaming.

  2. I dunno, Rodger...

Part of me know I will not read them again and maybe they should go to someone who will appreciate them more (but is that a realistic expectation in the internet and TMP age?), while part of me know I may regret it if I let them go...

  3. I let one go once, thinking I would never read it again, and I did feel somewhat regretful. I have mates who will sell off books and figures all the time with no regrets at all. Maybe just not for me.

I have also spoken to the owner of the shop where our copy of the rules came from. He is currently trying to track new copies down. If he has any success I will let you know.

  4. That's great news, Rodger.

If he can get a few copies I would like to have one sent to Mike Siggins.

  5. No worries my friend. If things turn real bad and if you want I could scan them and email them to you.

  6. I think I should make copies of the missile templates, since these are the hardest to reproduce...
