September Giveaway

Sorry I am late with this month's giveaway again, so once more the deadline will be 30 Sep 2015.

This month's offer include the classic They Died for Glory Franco-Prussian War rules, plus S&T magazine #149, featuring the Franco-Prussian War too (magazine and map only, no counters).

The rules for the giveaway, once again:

Let me know if you are interested by leaving a comment, and I will draw a recipient. This is not a first-come, first-serve offer after the deadline.

The offer is free; once I let you know you have been drawn, do let me have your email and mailing address and I will mail it off to you. You don't even have to pay for the postage. I am doing this not to get some money back, but to give these rules a good home. If you want to pay back somehow, I ask that you make a small donation to a local charity, or consider doing the same thing I am doing and give some rulebooks that you no longer use a chance for a new lease of gaming life.

Good Luck

Also: Rodger, Dan, your prizes for the draws are sealed and addressed - I just need to find the time to get to the post office... Thank you for your patience!

Hi Captain - As I've just started a Franco-Prussian War project I'll be in for this. I'd love the campaign map with the Strategy and Tactics magazine. But If I happen to win I'll regift They Died for Glory. I have previously owned these rules, so I know they aren't for me - although the orders of battle/scenario section is very detailed and well worth having for those that otherwise don't have that information.

Not interested in the draw, but just want to wish you well with it!

Hi,
I also have been starting a FPW project, both in 6mm for a portable wargame (both in Bob Cordery's sense, and as something to carry with me on vacation), and in 25mm from Scruby miniatures (now Historfigs). If I win I'll be sending the S&T stuff to Natholeon, as I owe him for sending me a copy of a GNW campaign article.

Hey,maybe doing things like this will become a common practice in the hobby! (Umm, probably not, but one can hope!).

Either way, thanks and best regards,

Chris Johnson

Hi

What a great initiative - once my stuff comes out of storage I must go through my rather large rules collection and rehome a few!

I'm just getting into the period so would be very interested!

And the winner of the draw is... Chris!

To make things simpler, I will send the S&T magazine to Natholeon and TDFG to Chris.

Let me have your email or mailing address by leaving a comment here and then immediately deleting it - I will receive the text in my email.

Thanks for participating!

Deleted my address above, but I'll just put here publicly a massive thanks to Captain Arjun and to Chris for being such a gentleman.
